While doing FRF analysis Optistruct is calculating Residual vectors. can you kindly explain the importance of residual vectors.

I have one more question.
In your attachment it is mentioned as Residual vector calculates the displacement vectors of a static analysis based on dynamic loading. In FRA how static analysis is calculated and how it improves the results.
