PSIM v12 includes new motor models including an induction machine with high-frequency input impedance for the study of motor drives with AC cable between the inverter and motor as well as a PMSM with spatial harmonic effect modeled showing the impact of the internal magnetic structure on generated torque, back emf, and drive currents. Also added are a 6-phase PMSM and several non-linear switched reluctance motors where torque and flux are based on lookup tables.
