The EDEM eLearning courses cover the most popular EDEM tools and it is one of the easiest ways to start using the software. Users will learn how to set up, run, and analyze materials simulations. The EDEM introduction course includes lessons on the three main EDEM components:

  • EDEM Creator: Tools are provided to define particles, import geometries and select the contacts physics
  • EDEM Simulator: Here you can configure and control the settings for the EDEM solver engine
  • EDEM Analyst: This is the post processing component to analyze results

Most eLearning lessons include short videos on various topics related to the Creator, Simulator, and Analyst. For example, Lesson 6 - Creating Factories, covers types of factories, parameters, and usage tips. Other lessons, like Lesson 12, focus on specific areas such as creating complex material bed profiles

Which other courses are available?

In addition to the EDEM Introduction course, we offer eLearning courses on popular EDEM couplings with other Altair tools (MotionSolve and AcuSolve) to extend your application scope. check out the eLearning courses EDEM with MotionSolve and Coupling EDEM with Altair CFD

Latest eLearning lessons:

We are constantly adding new eLearning lessons to show you new EDEM capabilities. If you are simulating large and complex particle systems with millions of particles, Check out the EDEM Introduction course - Lesson 15 GPU CUDA solver
