AcuSolve 2022 again expands the capability of our general purpose CFD solver enabling users to model multiple dispersed fields of any material type more accurately with Euler-Euler and granular multiphase and provides the most important feature to date for electrical simulation. 

 

 Euler-Euler Multiphase – The capability that made coupling with EDEM possible now becomes its own feature.  Track the momentum of every dispersed phase as it interacts with the carrier fluid.

 

 Granular Multiphase – A natural extension to Euler-Euler multiphase and a complement to coupling with EDEM, granular multiphase provides accurate simulation of dense phase flow with solid particles.

 

Electric Potential Solver – Electrical inputs produce thermal effects.  Apply voltage and current conditions and model temperature-dependent resistivity to capture the full thermal impact due to Joule heating.
