Hi experts,

I'm using inspireform to run redraw forming with a .sta file input as blank.

the solver stopped working and show below message.

The HF file is successfully created in the run folder.

May i know what is this error?
What is S_2020_win64.exe? normally it should be e_2020_win64.exe (radioss solver)
How can i solve this problem?

Thank you very much!

    hi Sourav,
    Thanks for your response.
    Unfortunately, this file is unshareable.
i can only tell a little bit about the process:
    1.  I successfully run the 1st forming stage with InspireForm.

    2. Take the sta file from the run folder

    3. Import into new inspireForm session to run 2nd forming stage.

This way works with a tutorial of InspireForm.

However, i found there is one difference.

The sta file in the tutorial is completed format.

The .sta file that i took from run folder of my simulation is not completed.
It linked to another .str.gz file in the same run folder.

    Does this cause the error?
If yes, how can we solve this?

    Thank you!

    Hi Sourav,

    I have found the problem.

It comes from the adaptive mesh with InspireForm.

Normally, with HyperForm, we can use the following process:

    1. 1st forming with adaptive mesh

    2. import .sta file into new session

    3. run 2nd forming  >> success.

But with InspireForm, if we use above process with adaptive mesh >> it failed.

    The temporary solution is:

    1. Set up the complete forming process in one session then we can use adaptive mesh.

    2. Run forming stage in separate file but need to use uniform mesh size.

    3. Use HyperForm

If you have time, could you make a test about my statement?

    i'm using InspireForm 2020.0.1 and 2020.

Also please fix this in the next version.

To be honest, Inspireform is nice, easy to use but it contains so many bugs.
