Top 10 Must Knows for Getting Started with HyperWorks 2021

Hi Altair Community,

I wanted to share my top 10 must knows to help you get started with the next generation HyperWorks user experience. What's your favorite new feature? 

  1. User friendly ribbon based workflows.
  2. In a single session you can display a model and results in a single window or several pages allowing you to do pre-processing and post-processing all in the same window.
  3. Tools have been designed with guided workflows and contain secondary ribbons, entity selection and advanced options.
  4. Mouse controls can be used to manipulate the model.
  5. Dedicated entity and workflow browsers.
  6. Keyboard shortcuts are noted throughout the tools. Look out for underlined letters which indicate keyboard shortcuts.
  7. Update parameters and easily create additional entities using the Entity Editor.
  8. Snap points can be enabled to assist you when trying to aligning geometry.
  9. Preferences provide additional freedom to customize your HyperWorks experience.
  10. Access product documentation, tutorials and Altair Community to get additional help.
