Is there an effective way to create good mid surfaces on plastic components?

I am getting familiar with the new HW 2021.2 interface. Recently I took the training course on HW Preprocessing V2021.2 and I am doing the Custom and Demo exercises; some of these exercises are for working on them freely. When I tried to get the mid surface, I need to do much work on them which means to much time if I need to mesh several components. Talking with a friend, he told me that when using Altair tool for meshing, he has a special module for plastic components, and midsurfaces are generated with little rework. Is this module available for anayone or are modules created for specific companies? I am using HM or HW in the new V2021.2. Is there another mesh tool within the suite?
