How can we get a better mid surface for plastic parts?

There is no automatic method available to extract mid-surface of complex plastic parts. As mentioned in the documentation.
Always start with auto mid-surface option.
1. Divide entire single component in to multiple components. Then again try with auto mid-surface or other subpanel of mid-surface.
2. You can generate mid-surface using manual method like ruled, skin ,drag, spline, line drag(mesh & surface generation command)
3. Surface ,Surface edit, Quick edit, lines & lines edit would help you to generate mid-surface.
