Hi,

Is it possible to create a two layers of shell elements, one on top of the other? I was looking to have a layer of shell elements with 1mm thickness and another layer with 0.5mm on top.

Thanks,

Carlo

    Yes, enter 2d>elem offset>shell offset

Do the two layers need to stick together?

    Hi Tinh,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, these layers model two biological tissues that stick together.

Then you have to make duplicated layers then assign zoffset to them

Edit card elems of 1st layer and activate zoffset with value = (t1+t2)/2
