How to properly set Pattern Repetition in Topology Optimization

Hi everyone,

I'm new to HyperWorks and can't find proper information on how to set a Pattern Repetition in Topology Optimization.
Everytime I get this:
*** ERROR # 842 ***  DTPL or DSIZE card with simultaneous PATRN and main is not supported.
violated DTPL or DSIZE id = 1

Just to have an idea: I have a Design Space which was able to show me a Topolopogy Optimized geometry and now I want to define Manufacture Constraints in this Design Variable.

I hope this problem sounds familiar to someone.

Thank you in advance

you will need to share at least a picture of your optimization setup (design variables) and what is in the inside.

Pattern Repetition works by defining a Primary/Main design variable (let's say #1), and assigning a reference "coordinate system" to it, inside the pattern repetition tab.

Then you will have another design variable, which is the secondary (let's say #5), and then you activate the 'pattern repetition', and set the Primary/Main to the Design Variable #1, and set also a reference "coordinate system", so that OS knows what should be the orientation compared to the Main one.
