    Hi,

    In the case of the cogging torque computation particularly in 3D, you need to refine the mesh in the air gap (it is better to create tow layer, one for the rotor air and the second for stator air). When you go fare form the air gap you can make relaxation on your mesh (goal: you don’t need to refine the mesh in all the parts of the motor).

    In Flux supervisor example, there is an example of cogging torque computation in the case of IPM motor.
