Assigning material properties in hypermesh

Hi,

I have created an FE model (ANSYS profile) in Hypermesh and would like to do a non-linear analysis in ANSYS Mechanical APDL.

I would like to assign the property of the material by defining 10-15 values for stress and strain. (not just assigning young's modulus and poisons ratio).

How do I do this?

Help appreciated,

Thanks,

Narayan

    Hi,

Not sure this is possible in HyperMesh, but it is definitely doable in mechanical. Just create a new material and input the properties you are after

    hope that helps

I know how to assign stress strain curve in OptiStruct... If you want to give a try, please let me know
