Connect two surfaces
Hi Hyperworks-Team
Is there a way to connect two element selections as in the example shown in the image.
I need to do it also for arbitrary shaped element selection with different numbers of polygons at the upper and lower surface.
Thanks! Kind regards!

Hi Rahul,
Thanks a lot for the response.
Sorry, I could not accomplish it yet. I'd like to connect the two element selections as shown in the image (see new image) and create an enclosing shell. So, I'm searching for a tool in hypermesh where i can select 'element selection 1' and then 'element selection 2' and it will find the outline of both selections and connect it with elements. Hope that was more clear now!
Thanks, Best J
Sure, I attached it. I'm trying to create a shell/solid mesh between 'L1_EP' and 'L2_EP'.
Could you describe the tools by telling the path like for example 'Mesh > Translate > node >... ' please. I just recently started to work with Hypermesh and still struggle to find many of the tools. Thanks a lot for your support!!
Ok, I found it (3D>ruled)! And seems to work with one issue. The created element-area does not fully close (see image). And a follow-up question: Is there a way to define the mesh so that it bulges instead of connecting straight.

Sorry, if the image is confusing. It's from an other software just to show what I'd like to do.
Hope someone can help me!
