COPY & MIRROR MESH

Hi!

I'm a new HyperMesh user (one week ca).

I'm dealing with a structurated mesh for CFD application.

I need to mirror, copy and move a number of elements already created.

I found the 'reflect' and the 'offset' commands, but they are not what I'm looking for.

I want to select a set of elements, copy and reproduce them in other parts of the domain..

Is there a way to handle elements like this, or any other way to reproduce meshed regions?

Thanks in advance!

The translate and position commands are also really useful for getting meshes into other locations in your model. I think the 'trick' you are looking for to copy a mesh, select the elements in the reflect, translate, or position panel. Then click on the elements button again to show the extended entity selection options. Select 'duplicate' from this popup. This creates a copy of all the elements you selected, and will perform the command on just the copies.
