are there somewhere Sample Input files where I can find various input file commands for the *.hx -File and their description?

 

Moreover, is it possible to save the simulation results as a vtk. file?

    I do not know what 'vtk. file' mean. Can you please elaborate. 

    Solver allows to saveresult as ASCII file ( text file) - not sure if you are looking for this?

    As Hyperworks is OPEN system, you can query results and export them into VTK format.
