Upgraded to Monarch Classic 15, now unable to export to Access

Recently upgraded Classic to v15. Have a regular process where I export a dataset to a access database, nonissue when using v14. This now fails when run via v15 with no helpful information as to why?

Any idea's?

    Hi Vanessa,

This appears to be a bug.  Both table and summary export to .accdb fails if add to file is selected.  If overwrite file is selected, then it works.

You can open the project file in DPS, and export table to .accdb, which works file, however, currently summary export to .accdb is not supported.  Summary can only be exported to a .csv file.

I reported this issue to Datawatch support team.

FYI, this bug has been reported and will be fixed in Monarch v15.2.

    When will 15.2 be available?

    This is affecting critical processes.

    Vanessa,

Is it safe to assume that you have full maintenance support available?

If so I would strongly suggest that you create a support case if you have not already done so. That may, in some circumstances and situations, provide for the earliest possible solution to a mission critical problem. It has to be worth seeking that opportunity.

    Hi Vanessa,

A temporary workaround is to downgrade to Monarch v15.0. I believe you're using Monarch v15.1 right?

I will give you access to our support portal where you can download the installers. Please expect an email with a password creation link. I also created a ticket for you to make sure you will be informed once v15.2 is released.

Have test v15, this does not work either

    Running export job Export1

    Export job Export1:

        Failed - Export1

The Excel file is incompatible with this version of Monarch.

This is urgent, we cannot undertake critical business processes

I can confirm that the same is happening to me since I installed v15.1!

It's not very reassuring to have to await the v15.2 release when critical business processes are at stake or even to go backwards, however, I thankfully kept my original v14.3.2.7917 installation which still works.

Hang on a minute. Your original post was back in August so why, now in November, is 15.2 not yet available?

I'm going to get in touch with support now...

Ah, it looks as v15.2 *was* released but I was recently given v15.1 and received no further notifications!

Please could we make the upgrade process simpler, Datawatch? If I don't have the option to check for the latest updates within the program, at the very least communications should go out to inform everyone of new releases.
