Hi Guys,

I am doing a simulation on an assembly imported from CATIA in igs format. After providing all the data and meshing, when I try to run the simulation using RADIOSS, I get an error message which says 'No elements found in the Input data'. As I am a beginner, could someone clarify me on this as my work is getting delayed due to this_ Expecting replies...

For my short experience, I believe you haven´t defined the elements properly in Hypermesh. You have to define the element type to use, and then assign that property to the created elements.

    The menu is in:

1D (or 2D or 3D) -> ET types -> create the name and then apply the card image. Depending on the kind of analysis. That will make the element.

Assign it to the corresponding elements and verify that the property is correct. Then export. That should be it.

I havent use the RADIOSS, I use ANSYS but that same mistake happens to me in the past. Hopefully this will help you!

Also make sure you have the 'export options' set to 'all', if you have it set to 'displayed' and the elements are hidden, they won't be exported and you could get the error you have.
