Size optimization

Dear Sir,
I am trying to run a size optimization.
How can I do a size optimization on a model like the one in the picture attached?
There is an outer 3D frame (purple), and I would like to optimize the thickness of the surfaces (green) inside this body.
Is there a way to do that?
Because I can not find how to connect the surfaces to the body and also the two surfaces, so that the mesh would be connected.
Thank you in advance

Hi thanks for your answer.
My problem is that I am not able to connect the nodes between the surfaces and also between the frame and the surfaces.
Because I did not draw the model in Hyperworks, but I imported it as it is.
So I am now trying to find a way to connect these nodes.
Is it possible?
Thank you
I have attached the .hm document

Last question sorry..
So there is not a command that make, for example a surface and a body already meshed, recognize where the various nodes are and replace them automatically and not manually?
Or connect a surface and a body somehow and then make a unique mesh so that they already share some nodes?
Thanks for your time

you can achieve proper geometry using surface edit self intersecting surfaces option.
Hi,
Show us your FE model first plz.
frame and 2surfaces will be connected if they share same nodes.
enter Shift+F5 panel > find between
to find the shared nodes of those 2 components
