Importing FEM of part into Assmebly

I had FEM of one part A.

Is it possible to import that FEM 'A' into a CAD assembly so that the FEM will come directly to related CAD part 'A'.

For example:

Assembly C has Sub assembly B, inside sub assembly B, i had Part A.

When i import FEM of Part A, is it possible to directly import it as a component inside sub assembly B ?

I don't think you can do that with importation. But :

    • I can move part into desired Assembly manually
    • I can write some TCL code to do this task

There is a Part Browser that controls this kind of behavior.

You can hva eyour parts organized into a interchangeable organization, and change one model by another, keeping its assembly structure.

It is also compatible with BOM from plm.

But in your case as you're importing a 'flat' model it will not be possible direct.

Take a look at the help section for part browser and its tutorials i the help.

Firstly, maybe you can try it in interactive mode?
