I have just recently started using Altair Inspire Print3d. I was trying to run the tutorial file and everytime i launch the simulation, it fails immediatrely after. I dont even get a log file to see what the problem is. All is get is a red X mark under status field, which essentially means the simulation has failed. I also observed that the working directory that ths software uses is something that I have NOT setup. Can you pls let me know how to change the working directory? I suspect the simulation fails since i have no permission to save in the current working diorectory. Please take a look at the attached pics to better understand what I am talking about.

usually the working directory is under Documents/Altair/....

You can go to Preferences and there you can define your mode to run from your file directory too. At least this works for other Inspire Applications.
