partitioning in hypermesh

i have a complex model of a car.i want to partition it in hypermesh and mesh it.then import that model to ls-dyna.because i want to have different part in ls-dyna to assign different material to them. does any one know how can i do this?

Altair Employeei take a look at tutorial but i understand nothing from that,
would you know which part i should read?
Maybe have a look at Hypermesh tutorials ?
