Composite Modeling

I am trying to model a composite with 10 plies through the thickness. I imported my cad geometry from CATIA and defined its material, and property as sectshll. I used part_composite card image to define the number of plies through the thickness. But I can see the plies got created upon the already existing part. Enclosed is the file for review
