Hi...Everyone.....

I have to do linear static analysis. I want to do specify static displacement on set of nodes, i have used DAREA to specify the same. But i am getting unreasonable results. Is there any other way to specify the static displacement on the node?.

Thanks in advance image/emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>

    Hi Ramsubu93,

Try with SPCD instead and check whether you get expected results or not.

    Thanks sir.........

But in Linear static loadstep, where to refer the SPCD?

Can i refer SPCD in DEFORM?

First you will need to create a SPCD on the required nodes, this will be in a load collector.

Then you need to create a SPC load collector and constrain the DOFs specified in SPCD in this SPC collector,

Then Reference SPCD load collector in LOAD , and SPCs in SPC section of the loadcase.
