How to do a parameter sweep

Hi there,

I have some problem to do a parameter sweep operation with a simple rectangular patch. I click on application macro, model construction and then parameter sweep. I choose the parameter that I want to vary and the number of samples, but when I click next it doesn't ask me where I want to save the parameter sweep and it doesn't generate any xml file that I can use on postfeko to see the graphic variation.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
My Feko's version is the student edition 2021.0.3.

Thanks.

Please check that the new directory "parameter_sweep" is generated under the current directory. (The .xml file and the other feko files are saved there. )

    Thank you.

Hi, thank you for the answer, I appreciate it.
The problem is that the "parameter sweep" directory is never generated.
In one of the two images which I have attached there are the files that Feko generate when I run a parameter sweep, and that is the original directory where I saved the file "check" (which contain the patch that I've mentioned before).

    Hi,

Did you see the following window after clicking on "next" in "Parameter sweep - define variable ranges"?

    (This is the normal procedure.)

If not, please install again Feko (maybe 2021.1).

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, Feko doesn't show me that window.
Furthermore, I tried to install again Feko (only 2021.0.3 because it's the only version that I can find in the email in response to the request) and even after a recovery of Windows.
It is quite important for me to be able to use the parameter sweep since I am doing a study on a QHA and I need to find the best configuration of the parameters and to use them in postfeko in order to analyse them.
Is it possibile to use another version, maybe also older?

I renew my thanks for your reply.

Could you try "Parameter Sweep" with the attached dipole example?

You might visit "Altair MarketPlace" to download  (different) Feko installation file.

Could you send your Feko model (.cfx) to me (jaehoon@altair.com) or here?

    I would investigate.

    Thank you.

Of course yes, it's attached, but the problem is general, so it concerns every project.
Is it possible that this problem regards the folder where I save the project?

    Thank you.

We have found the problem, hopefully.

The problem is using the "à" character in your filename or folder structure.

Please remove this and try again.
