Error in Dynamic Crash Analysis of SAE Baja Roll Cage

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to do a dynamic frontal crash analysis of SAE Baja Roll Cage. I want to crash by roll cage with a rigid wall at the front. When I run the solver, it gives the error named 'Error in Interface Definition' describing 'Lagrange Surface is Empty'. I checked the master & slave entities, it was all fine, red dots on a blue background. As in mine case, the master & slave entities would be roll cage components only. But what does this term 'Lagrange Surface is Empty' mean? And how to rectify this?

Please someone help me out. Any help would of great use to me.

I have attached the screen shots of the errors.

Also I have attached mine .hm model.

Please have a look into and reply.

    Hi

The error can be related to the case when you convert the mesh from other solver profile, and the elements need to be updated.

If there is not /SHELL or /BRICK (if solid elements) there will not have elements that Radioss recognize.

    I Hope this is helpful

    Thanks for your reply.

Actually, I did the linear static analysis using Opti struct solver and used the same mesh with Radios Solver for crash test. So this is the basic cause of the error, right???

In my mesh, I have used second order quads only shell elements. So, how to update it for the Radios solver?????

Please guide me through this problem.

    Thanks
