Hello everybody
I´m trying to mesh a solid(a tube) in with different element size (tree areas), where the the area of the stressed or contact area should be meshed in small size about 0.9 or 1.0 and the rest with 2.5 or 3 mm.
after making the section, is it possible to make a projection of each 2D mesh created on the section plane?? image
I would appreciate, if you can give me some indications to solve this problem.
Please find attached files for more information

Many thanks in advance.

Note: the jpg file is an .*hm -file.

    nkoelouna,

Are you able to generate this solid mesh? In the model I see only a 2d mesh.

If your question is to generate a 3d mesh with the cross section as you show you can use the 3D > spin option.

the third image is the model, Spin will quickly generate a very good model with high quality as you can see in this model.
