The bonding v3_5 API uses the getPhysicalRadius function, which is only available for multispheres and spherocylinders, so it will not work with polyhedral particles. I think the particle replacement API should work with polys, but I'm not 100% sure. Finally, the built-in hertz-mindlin model works fine with polys. If you are using the API version of the model, just make sure you're not using any multisphere and/or spherocylinder exclusive functions.

Hi Satri,
If you're using the built-in cube geometry in EDEM, then it is not possible to change the number of elements. In this case, you have to create a cube geometry using an external CAD software where you can control the number of elements and then you can import that geometry into your EDEM deck.
