Solids from 3D mesh

Hi Chaithanya,

You may have to extract face elements from solids. On these face elements you can get the features.

Go to tool > faces to create surface elements

Go to surfaces > from FE to create geometric surfaces from the above created surface elements

Then use geometry > solids > bounding surfaces to create solid geometry from the bounding surfaces.

Ok,its a 3 step process.

This is okay. But isn't there an easier and proper way to create solids around an existing 3D mesh?

Then use geometry > solids > bounding surfaces to create solid geometry from the bounding surfaces. 

This is not working for spheres! I get errors
