characteristics of risers and measure the volume in Inspire Cast

Q1: Can Inspire Cast analyze the feeding characteristics of a riser? If not, is there an indirect way to analyze them?

(For example: at the position of the feeder, 1.1 kg has been compensated (equivalent to 10% of the volume of the feeder).

Q2: Can Inspire Cast measure the volume of the metal that shrinks after the riser finishes filling the mold, as shown in the image?

    Hello @Minh_169 ,

Unfortunately, the quantitative value of the shrink is not available in Inspire Cast yet.

    Hi @MilanRaval,

Is there a way to relatively determine the amount of metal that the risers have supplied to the cast part?

    Hi @Minh_169 ,

There is no straightforward value showing how much amount being feeded from riser to part. But if you look at the pipe shrinkage/ Total shrinkage volume, you can assume the ballpark value amount which might have pushed into the part from riser.
