Can polyhedral particles use the archard wear model

I want to calculate the wear of polyhedral particles, can I use the Archard wear model to calculate the wear of polyhedral particles with guaranteed accuracy? The contact model I use is Hertz-Mindlin Nassauer-Kuna contact model.

    Hi,

    The Archard wear model can be used for polyhedral particles, but this calculates wear on the Geometry not the Particles.


    We do have a custom API that we will post shortly which calculates wear on Particles not geometry, but this isn't currently available.
