Convergence not reached

Hi everybody,

I am simulating a motor in Flux 2D, importing a geometry from Motor-CAD. I did everything correctly, included meshing and assigning the physics, but when I run the simulation the solver doesn't find any convergence at step 3 (see the attached images to view the error message). What can I do to solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Try to change the method of solving. To do it:

In solving option >> nonlinear system solver >> method for computing the relaxation factor for Newton-Raphson: put Fujiwara method instead of automatically specified method.

    Best regards.

Did this method work by replacing automatically to Fujiwara?  because i m also facing same problem

    Hi!

I am having convergence problem in nonlinear solving process with induction machine short-circuit simulation. Earlier I used to change solver to Fujiwara in this kind of situation but nowadays there are only few solvers left in version 2019.1.1 and the ones there are, do not help me. I think it is very negative update that the solver options (e.g. Fujiwara) have been removed. Can you give me any advice for solving this problem?

    Best Regards

    Hi Otto,

Fujiwara is in the 2019.1.1 version.

We just change the number of option in standard mode, but you can access if you use the advance mode in the option on the supervisor
