Hi,

i had an assembly of few parts. during auto cleanup, one of the hole has been filled by hypermesh in one part and now i have interference of elements. Can you please suggest how can i create an equivalent of hole again with the elements ? (as i want these 2 parts with rigid contact).

    Some suggestions:

    • Merge the meshes by memeshing the hole. This method is ok only when two parts have the same material.

Change the mesh of hole in order to have the coincident mesh as the axis. Then apply MPC on coincident nodes ?

Ignore the current interference between two parts. Make a RBE for each part (within contact area). Apply MPC between independent nodes to simulate assembly conditions.
