Failing to apply BC

Hello,

I am trying to run a simple optimization on a cylinder. The problem I am facing is that the optimization is failing and I get this error:

The model must contain valid loads or properly supported so that it can't translate or rotate in any direction

 

I am attaching some pictures of the model and the settings I am using

Hi,

you are using joints at the bottom. These may do not constrain your part properly. Try Fastener instead. You should also check your loadcases. Perhaps you haven't added all supports in all loadcases?
