Triangular surfaces from 2D triangular elements
Altair EmployeeHi everyone,
I have an enclosed volume thanks to 2D triangular meshing elements.
I would like to extract a surface from this meshing but keep those triangles pattern (e.g. each small surface has to be exactly a 2d triangular element of hte previous meshing).
Usually I use the menu 'Geom' -> 'Surfaces' but the result is not what I expect.
Could you give me an advice ?

The only way to satisfy your need is to export your mesh into STL format.
