I see the following warning:

Warning 594: Due to rounding errors, the solution may be totally invalid.

What does it mean and what should I do to fix it?

The complete warning message in the OUT file will look similar the one below. This is typically given when dielectrics are present in the model and modelled with the surface equivalence principle (SEP) PMCHW formulation. When the model is electrically extremely small, this warning will be given. It could of course be that a user has set the frequency too low.

WARNING 594: Due to rounding errors the solution may be totally invalid > The summation of the vector potential |A| = 7.30931919E-017 and the scalar > potential |PHI| = 1909950.77 causes a numerical rounding error, which may > make the solution totally unusable: > | ( A + PHI ) - PHI | = 2.99719848E-028

    Hello JIF,

If that is the case, the solution would be wrong around that electrically small piece of geometry right? It wouldn't necessarily mean that the solution computed on the rest of the model should still be accurate?

    Cheers

That is a reasonable assumption, but I have never investigated it. I would recommend that you try to avoid the problem, if possible. If the small piece of geometry is not important in your model, consider rather removing it from the model or consider alternative solution methods that behave better at low frequencies. Without a model, it is rather difficult to make a suggestion.
