Hello Everybody,

I am attaching the illustrative s of the problem I facing. I have a portion of the surface meshed and I want the remaining portion to be meshed. How to achieve this?

Juste define a surface within this area and mesh it by keeping the same density. Do equivalent the nodes finally.

    Thank you  Nguyen-Dai

But after doing this way, the elements on the new surface are not connected to the elements from previous surface.

That why I wrote 'Do equivalent the nodes' !!!

    Hello Amar,

You can try using the command Spline( in 2-D) with the options With/Without/Delete surface. However, before you try this, familiarize yourself with the importance of equivalence command as suggested by Q.Nguyen-Dai

Also, you may need to project the new nodes/elements on the surface, if the surface is not planar.
