Hi all,

I run an FEA analysis, viewed results of plastic strain, and we tested the part in real life. There are a lot of areas that have strain value exceed elongation value of the material . But in real life, the part doesn't break. What is the problem ? may problem be warpage on quad element used in raidus?

Thanks in advance.

Maybeyour simulation does not correctly present real behavior of the part?

Check BC, material, loading,... and meshing.

    Solver : Radioss

    analysi type : explicit

    Hyperview version: 13

i think, there is problem about plastic strain. Because i can't view gissmo in Radioss and there are some warpage in quad element and i see more strain value than real test. may this be problem ?

And can i see gissmo in Radioss ?
