How to output residual in Hyperview

Hi All,

I'm doing nonlinear quasi-static analysis in Optistruct. in order to better undestand the convergence of the simulation (expecially in case of non-convergent solution), it could be helpfull to output the residual in Hyperview. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Luke31,

Residual can be seen in .out file.

I will check if there is any other way to represent in HyperView and will update to you on same soon.

Not yet. But since residual is a number and this will be written in .out file.

For me could be also sufficient to understand where the maximum residual is applied. is there a way to understand it from the .out file or this is related to the issue of representing the residual in Hyperview?
