Exporting Tensor Results GPSTRESS

Hello everyone!

I checked the script exchange and could not find or maybe its because I don't fully understand the tcl files.

What I am looking for is a tcl script that exports nodal coordinates (sorted by Node ID), element connectivities and Tensor Format Components (From GPSTRESS so nodal Stresses). I need to be able to change from XX, XY, XZ to YY, YX, YZ or ZZ, XZ, YZ. I attached my 'tries' and the tcl-scripts for elementConnectivity and Node Coord work, but the tensor script returns an empty file -.-

For writing those  I used the Script exchange, so I did not fully understand what I was doing there.

My perfect solution would be a script that does not require Hyperview to be opened. I'd like to do my modeling and FE calculations in Hypermesh and than 'just read out' the .h3d-File to get the nodal coordinates, nodal Tensor Components and element connectivities as csv files.

I know that normally I would use help files and work myself into the subject, but it really isn't easy to find proper resources to get all the information.

That is why I'd be more than super grateful if you guys could give me a hint or help in any way!

Thanks a lot in advance!

Asaad

I think you can output it by optistruct. Looking for relevant keyword in optistruct reference. Or ask in optistruct forum
