Hello, I would like to know the equivalent element of 2D Bernoulli-Euler in Hypermesh?
Hi,
Which solver are you using?.
For RADIOSS, shells are based on Mindlin-Reissner shell theory that includes transverse shear deformation valid for moderately thick and thin shells.
And I think Euler-Bernoulli formulation is used only for beam elements.
I'm using Optistruct, It would be for 2D beam.
Hi Ariane,
Please refer our ebook on Practical Aspects of Finite Element Simulation (A Study Guide) (page 456) where this concept is covered with an example of cantilever beam.
Thanks!
