Visual difference

Hello,

I'm perplexed with a visual difference problem.

I created a simple point or node that is located on a corner of a cube. It seemed on the corner, but it does not look like on the corner if zooming in extremely closely. I wonder if it is just a matter of visualization in Hypermesh, or the point or node is exactly NOT on the corner. Thanks!

Ryan

    Hello Ryan,

mostly it is only a graphical problem (triangulation and polygonal representation).

You can try to increase the geometry refinement level. Press 'O' (options) -> graphics -> geometry refinement -> level x (try auto or > 2)

A second reason could be a shared edge with a large geometry tolerance or manually stitching. Try to toggle the edges to 'free' and take a look.

    Regards,

    Mario
