You can do the following:– this problem is a 2D or axis-symmetric problem. You can create a slice of the geometry and apply sliding to the sides of the slice– the lid is fixed, the ridge is in contact with the gasket. Apply vertical displacement to the ridge. The displacement is equal to the gap between spacer and the lid.– apply NL material to the gasket– watch the reaction force vs displacement at the ridge bottom
