Hypermesh Solid Map bug v12

I believe I have ran into a bug, unless someone has a different explanation. When I use solid map it shows me the 2D mesh that will be used to create the 3D mesh. Upon mesh creation however the mesh is highly distorted and inaccurate. I thought it was the tight geometry near the stop, but this does not seem to be the issue as the same problem occurs if I toggle the edges.

For Solid map meshing, you have to work maximum with your geometry before meshing to get good mesh.

So you can try to split your solid into many simple parts, that works better.

    Hi,

Could you please let us know how are you splitting the solid?

as suggested above spit to simple parts and start from the smallest region of your solid.

It is not clear what the problem is from the images

The curved surface should be the along geometry, the curved surface should not be surface meshed or used as the source.

Also the density may have to be increased.
