Hello there,

My name is Pravin. I have a limited/ no experience in Hypermesh. I have been assigned an academic task of simulating Induction heating process in Abaqus. I have problems in generating mesh in Abaqus because the parts are quite complex. So I tried to export it in Hypermesh and tried to mesh the parts. Individually I am able to mesh the parts with tetra elements but there is no connectivity between the nodes of the two regions. I have attached the screen shot of the parts that should be meshed. Please help me in getting around this problem. Any help in this regard is appreciable.

Thank you,

Regards,

Pravin

In hypermesh using 2d to 3d approach you can have proper connectivity.try to have same mesh for two interconnected regions. Also you can use Altair simlab for such cases.

Without the HM model, that's impossible to help you.
