Duplicate elements are gone.

Can anyone tell my why Hypermesh deletes duplicate elements sometimes? Can I turn it off?
I have got 2 the same surfaces with connected edges, and in 2 corners, I have got 2 or 3 duplicate elements. Sometimes hypermesh deletes the duplicate elements of 1 surface.
But I would like to keep both elements.
Is there another way to do this?
I know I can copy the elements but it would be nice that I don't have to do this every time I mesh the parts.

You can perhaps increase the node tolerance in mesh options and try
HyperWorks Desktop Applications > HyperMesh > User's Guide > HyperMesh Panels > HyperMesh Panels Listed Alphabetically:

But then my connection will be lost ... ?
I also tried to put extra points at 1 surface. But this doesn't work every time.
