CADFEKO screen is blank (Grey) on Ubuntu 18.02

Hi,

I have installed FEKO v2017.2 on Ubuntu 18.02. However, a blank screen (grey) appears when I run CADFEKO. Please find attached picture. I have installed the FEKO v2017.2 on Windows 10 (same laptop, dual boot) where it is working perfectly fine. Also, in the past, I have installed earlier versions of FEKO on Ubuntu 16, which always worked fine.

Grateful if someone can recommend a solution.

Hi Ksewsu,

I assume that you are using Ubuntu 18.04 (not 18.02 - that does not exist as far as I know). I just installed it again on Ubuntu 18.04 and it worked without issues. My guess would be that you some OpenGL problem. Try updating your graphics card driver?

Any reason why you are using version 2017 and not 2018? (I'm asking since using the latest version is best, but version 2017 should work and it worked for me now - confirmed.)

Thanks for the reply. Finally, FEKO is running normally when I open the software using initfeko. Previously, I was opening CADFEKO using the sudo ./cadfeko command.
