Hello,

I am doing simulation using anisotropic material on an aircraft. I want to know are there any other method (PO, LE-PO, RL-GO) other than MOM, MLFMM which can solve anisotropic materials or layered dielectric? Because the geometry is big, so MOM, MLFMM take  very long time for simulation for higher frequencies above 6 GHZ.

    Dear Ben

The PO in FEKO supports the 'Layered dielectric (2D)' option but not the 'Anisotropic layered dielectric (2D)' option.

The RL-GO supports both the 'Layered dielectric (2D)' and 'Anisotropic layered dielectric (2D)' options, but please note that, for the anisotropic option, only a single layer is supported.

IF you are specifically interested in calculating scattering (RCS), the RL-GO would be preferred as this solves multiple interactions (reflections) efficiently.

    Regards,

    Johan H

Thanks. But if I have more than one layers (which I have) than which method should be used?
