how i can extract a top or bot surface from a geometry?

Hi,

 

there are two ways:

1. in the tool>organize panel choose surfaces and copy

2. in any panel that allows selecting surfaces (mask, delete, automesh,... ), once surfaces are selected click surfs again and then choose duplicate
