Hi,

I am new to HyperMesh and I am trying to create an 'entity set' containing many elements. So I go to : 'Analysis' -> 'entity sets' ->  'entity: elems' -> 'elem list'. What is the rigth way to select the element list? All I can do is select the elements one by one with the cursor, which is time consuming.

Is there a better way to select the elements? Usually, when I need to select elements, there are many ways of doing it: by ID, by plane, window, etc. But for the entity set, I cannot choose a selection method.

Thanks

You have ALOT of different methods to define element sets. Have a look at following screenshot:

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply! I am familiar with these methods. However, when I click on 'elem list' in the entity set function, this window does not show up! Am i doing something wrong?

    Thanks,

Alright I found out why I was not getting all the selection methods: The 'set type' option was 'ordered' instead of 'non ordered'.
