Beam assemble

here i attached beam assemble i want to check its deflection. while meshing the beam which elements i want to use 1d or 2d or 3d. can i solve it use only 1d elements anyone know please explain how to create 1d elements for this assemble.

    Hi Ayil,

     

    Mesh it with 3D_ volume Tetra mesh. Give element size .01

    You can use 1D only meshing if you would like to know only global behavior.

    With this kind os structure, the best method is make shell meshing.

     

    Don't make 3D meshing for this structure unless you do all in Hexa meshing.

    thickness is much lesser than the member length. Prefer shell over solid elements. You can also use 1D only to model the same which saves computation power a
